A Bit About Me

 I didn't arrive at L3 Painting through a shortcut. I built my way here through nine years of doing the actual work.

I started at Caliber Drywall doing commercial framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry on tenant improvement and new construction projects. I worked my way up to leading crews. That hands-on foundation is something you can't shortcut and can't fake — and it's the reason I hold every L3 project to the standard I do.

From there I moved into a supervisory role at Painting America, managing new construction apartments and hotels. I was coordinating steel framers, drywall crews, tapers, painters, and wall covering installers — multiple trades, real deadlines, no room for error. That's where I learned what it actually takes to run crews at scale without letting the quality slip.

I spent the next four years at Classic Finishes, where I joined a 3-crew residential painting company and helped build it into an operation running 7 to 8 crews at its peak. I handled the estimates, the scheduling, the crew management, the service expansion, and every client relationship. I grew the company's capabilities from interior painting and cabinet work into exterior painting and drywall. I did everything except the invoicing.

I started L3 Painting in 2025 because I knew there was a better way to do this. A business where the quality of the work, the fairness of the price, and the reliability of the team weren't three separate things you had to trade off against each other. Nine years of learning what works — and what doesn't — went into building L3 the right way from day one.

Joined a 3-crew residential painting company and rebuilt it from the inside out. Took on full operational responsibility — estimating, scheduling, crew management, and client relations. Drove the expansion of services to include exterior painting and drywall, growing the operation to 7–8 active crews at peak. Managed everything except invoicing. Left with a proven record of scaling a residential contracting business without losing the quality that built it.
